![]() ![]() The effort is only great if it has not been programmed "cleanly". The framworks Unity and Unreal have the options to port Mac OS and Linux. Far be it from me to criticize the game because it is not natively ported to Linux, my intention is only that the developers port the games anyway like in the 80's and 90's ( Amiga, C64, Atari ST, MSDos). ![]() The game is very good as you can read in reviews as well as from you. You are one of the people who appreciate Linux very much and that is what we need to achieve a bigger voice. I can only return that and also very much appreciate your helpfulness and support in the game solution with Proton. I feel very appreciated about your words and kindness. Hope you won't be to discouraged to buy the game because it's non native as it is an amazing game, and to be honest for this game and as it is now with Proton it might be better as the dev's can focus on game updates or the next title instead of cloning the current game. ![]() Also no issues, hiccups or performance complains after finishing the whole game with 21.6h playtime/ a little afk time. However for this game it ran literally perfect without required troubleshooting, for me having Proton enabled by default made it as download an go as it could have been (Coming from Arch Linux). I just wanted to say that it would be very lovely to see (way) more native support for non MS platforms form all types. It's amazing to see your interactions here with everyone. But be sure we appreciate it very much your voice here and your helping hand. ![]() The Proton layer is in fact not the solution we are looking for. But we are here to push the standard to have native ported games. Thank you so much for your comment and intention to support the community with the Proton layer. ![]()
